Purpose
Abide was founded as a reminder to stay connected to the vine in order to produce abundant fruit – from John 15. Every purchase makes possible donations of custom arrangements to local hospitals and nursing home patients.
Debbie’s Story
What began as an outlet for her creativity and way to get involved in her local community, grew into a business with the mission of giving back.A natural born creative with an innate nesting sense and gift for making others feel at home, Debbie’s passion for design, cooking and creating blossomed after retiring from the corporate world. Inspired by her travels across the US and abroad she found herself drawn to nature, streams, waterfalls, gardens and quaint, out-of-the-ordinary restaurants and shops.
Wanting to share that sense of tranquility and uniqueness, she felt a calling to not just design custom floral arrangements, but to uplift the spirits of nursing home and hospital patients who needed a little extra cheer. Abide soon expanded into handcrafted decor and accents dedicated to donating a portion of its proceeds to the creation of florals for hospital and nursing homes.
